Alice Pace (bodhran, assorted hand percussion, vocals). Alice brings three big skills to WS. First, her bodhran playing. She has been playing for many years, and has many unique instruments crafted by Mance Grady of Cumberland, RI. Second, her soprano voice - Alice originally trained for opera. Third, her good ear. Alice always knows a good song when she hears one, and together, she and Ned arrange them for WS. In her spare time, Alice does graduate studies in Political Science at the University of RI. |

Ned Quist (guitar and vocals) is the rhythm engine and resident music theorist of the band. Music in the wrong key, need it in another, no time to write it out? No problem! Previous to WS, Ned played in Cross Country, a folk music trio that toured the East Coast for many years. In his spare time, Ned is the music librarian at Brown University. |
